Hi everyone,
Get ready for something truly special! This coming Saturday, March 28th, is shaping up to be a monumental day for people all across the nation. Thousands of us are planning to gather for what we’re calling ‘No Kings’ rallies, marches, and peaceful protests. It’s our chance to come together and collectively make our voices heard.
This whole movement is about standing up for our constitutional rights – especially that awesome First Amendment that lets us speak our minds and gather peacefully. We’re uniting to push back against some of the federal government actions that many of us feel are just plain wrong or unfair. We really want to see more accountability, better transparency, and a solid commitment to the democratic principles that our country is built on.
And guess what? We’re not alone in this! A huge coalition of over 200 diverse organizations are throwing their full support behind these efforts. We’re talking about incredible groups like the ACLU, the 50501 Movement, the League of Conservation Voters, Public Citizen, and the Human Rights Campaign. Plus, powerful unions such as the American Federation of Teachers and SEIU, and awesome grassroots movements like Indivisible, are all actively mobilizing their communities. Their collective involvement really highlights how many people care about this, and how strong our unified call for change truly is.
Just to be super clear, this isn’t some big, top-down operation. It’s completely grassroots – powered by everyday folks like you and me who genuinely believe in what we’re doing. Everyone participating is motivated by their deeply held convictions and a desire to help create a more just and fair society. So, if you hear any rumors that protesters are getting paid to be there, that’s absolutely false and totally misses the genuine, passionate spirit of this vital democratic expression.
If you feel strongly about standing up for justice and our fundamental rights, we’d truly love for you to join us on March 28th. Even just being there, peacefully, can make a huge difference and help amplify our collective demand for meaningful change. We will be on California and  Walstreet at noon.
Hope to see you there!
Best,
Cricket Courtney (ai assisted)
